Here we are in Lucas Oil Stadium in the Wild Card round of the 2013 playoffs as the Indianapolis Colts are taking on the never ending Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs have the lead 35-3 in the second have while the Colts are going to get the ball.
As the game is coming to an end the Chiefs are leading by 5 on 3 and 7. The Chiefs will give the ball to the unstoppable Running Back Jammal Charles. He runs to the side and Rasheen Mathis breaks a tackle and takes Charles to the ground. With 2 seconds left the ball is snapped he gives it to Donald Brown gets hit and fumbles the ball and ANDREW LUCK PICKS THE BALL UP AND PUTS ONE ARM OUT AND SCORES THE TOUCHDOWN!!!! The colts have just made the greatest comeback in NFL history.

Thank You Veterans

My thoughts on 9/11/2001 are that I cant really imagine it happening. The thing that I love most is that after the airplane knocked down the Twin Towers is that everyone helped out and cleaned up everything. It did take a while, but it was worth it. It reflects on me by having me thinking, "What if that was me. What if I was one of the men and women who died that day. I know that they did what every real American would do and that's that they picked themselves up and are still finishing the fight. Never Forget 9-11-01!

Finals

Next week every one in the middle school has to do the... FINALS! I don't like the idea of finals. It just stresses me out so much. I mean one day we one study guide then the next we get 2 and they are all due the very next day. you have to worry about getting them all done in time and worry about studying to get good grades on the finals. I just think that maybe we should just one small test in each class instead of these big finals that really impact your grade. I don't think that we should ever have finals. Parents stress out about you getting a good grade as well so they make you study like crazy. You don't get to play with any thing until you study for an hour. Or they tell you that you cant have your tablet or phone until you study for an hour.

Something That Bugs Me

One thing that really bugs me is my brother. Because every time I try to study or do homework he wont leave me a lone. Also if I am just trying to have some peace and quit while I watch my movie then he will come and bother me. Or if I just doing nothing then hi will still come and bother me. No mater what I do about it he always will come back and bother me. Sometimes I go into my parents bedroom and lock myself in there so that he cant get to me. Or I'll just yell at him to leave me alone.

Kid Nation 7

Deviance: In this episode I saw deviance. Because Taylor would go against every thing that the council asked her to do. She would ruin every thing she did. Like when she didn't help with the trash, and when she had to do her punishment, refilling the water tower, she would get 2 buckets of water she would just dump them over. She wouldn't do anything like her job or help any one.

Social Sanctions: In this episode I saw social sanctions. Because every week the town holds a show down and each team competes against each other. And if all the teams get enough then the town gets a big reward. Also they can make a better town. And if they work hard enough they might just get a gold star. If they teams also get to be upper class, merchants, cooks, and the labors but the don't get to choose it depends how well the do in the weekly show down.

Primary Deviance: In this episode I saw primary deviance. Since they have a weekly show down, they get new jobs every time. So they don't keep their job that long. They just get the job done even if they know that they wont have it for long. They get different jobs every other week so that they can mix it up so that know is just having the same job.  If every one kept the same job then some people would have a lot more money than others like the labors or the cooks.

Kid Nation 6

Cooperation: I saw cooperation. Because in the town every one just throws it on the ground. The trash is just piling up. The council decided to have a couple of people to carry it far away from the town and bury it. Every one was so happy that the trash was being taken away. So the council and the rest of the town cooperated about the trash problem and what had to be done to help clean up the town.

Conformity: I saw coercion. Because the town council pick a few kids to help with the trash. But Taylor and Abby didn't want to help. Taylor didn't help at all. Abby decided that she didn't want to be punished, so she went to go help the other kids. So she didn't have to be punished. she changed her ways to help ever one with the trash.

Authority : I saw authority. Because there are four kids who are the town council. They chose what is best for the town and what their reward is that they can get from the showdowns. They get to chose what happens in the town like who gets the gold star and if there are different activities in the town. They get to chose who does what part of the job that each team has. Like if your team is the cooks then the council gets to chose who of that teams does the dishes are cooks.

Kid Nation 5

Conflict: In this episode I saw conflict. In this episode the council member of the blue team was having a conflict with one of the girls who was going to run against him for the spot in the council. Also Taylor, the council member of the yellow team, was having conflict with another member, Zack, who was running against her for her spot in the council. It was also the same for the red team.

Group: In this episode I saw group. Because on the green team no one wanted to run against the council member of their team. They thought that no one on their team could do a better job than Lauran could. They didn't want to because they thought that she would do they best out of all of them on their team. They didn't think that anyone on their team could do better than her.

Out-Group: In this episode I saw out-group. Because each week the have a weekly showdown. In the showdown each team has to work just with their team members. But each team has to compete against each other. But if all the teams win they do get a prize, even though they do have to compete against each others team.

Secondary Group: In this episode I saw secondary group. Because everyone wants to make this town work out. They all agree to try and win the showdowns to win prizes to make the town run and work better. They try not to fight but it doesn't always work out in the end. even though people fight they end up getting along. They all do their jobs to help out the town so that it stays working and stays clean.  :)

KId Nation 4

Ascribed Status: I saw ascribed status. In the weekly showdown the teams competes. Which ever team wins first becomes the upper class, then the merchants, cooks , and last comes the labors. The kids don't have a choice if they become the upper class or the cooks.

Social Solidarity: I saw social solidarity. The council tried to make everyone come to a service with all kinds of religions. No one showed up to the service. Then on of the members of the green team made a little bon fire and told every one that they could come if they wanted but they  didn't have to if they didn't want to. So all most every one came to say some prayers.

Obligation: I saw obligation. Because every team has a job to do. If the don't do their job then the town would fall a part. The upper class don't really have to do any thing. But the cooks and the laborers have to do their jobs or no one would get there food.

Role: I saw role. Because Taylor, one of the council members, is rude to every one. She does things that make people really upset. She also tells everyone to "Deal with it". She doesn't do her job she just sits around doing nothing while everyone else is working really hard.

Poorest Pres.

The president of Uruguay Jose Mujica donates 90% of his $ 12,500 and keeps only $1,250. I think that this was a great thing for a president to do for charity. Just because he is a president doesn't mean that he needs a lot of money.

My 5 Day Weekend

Easter-Eggs
Picture from here
This weekend I went to my grandma's house. Sin e all of the kids are older they didn't want to hunt for eggs. but my little cousin who is 2 hunted for eggs and every time he found one he had to open it before he went on. Also I rode the tractor with him. Another thing I did this weekend was help around the house like cleaning, and my mom made me study for the science test that I have this Friday. I gave my dog a bath, and she kept trying to run away from the water.

Kids Nation 3

Laws: In this episode I saw laws. Because the council decided to make some laws. Like a curfew because every one stayed up late and in the morning no one wanted to get up and do there jobs. Also everyone is just doing what they want when they want.

Values: In this episode I saw values. Because every team has jobs to do. When they do there jobs they get money to by things in the grocery store. They get to spend the money on what ever they want to.  Also the upper class don't really have to do anything but they still get paid.

Socialization: In this episode I saw socialization. Because every one is trying to learn how to work together and how to get a long with everyone. They kids don't get a long, they argue. They don't really listen to each other so they don't agree very much.

Kid Nations 2

In this episode I saw beliefs. Some of the kids didn't want to kill the chickens because they think that it is mean. They think that animals are our friends. They thought that it is not right to kill them. They think that animals are humans too. Not just food.

In this episode I saw drives. One of the kids didn't want to kill any of the chickens. So she got a couple of kids and tied the door to the chicken coop shut. They tried to save them. But one of the kids got them to untie the door and come out. Finally the kids agreed to only let them kill 2 chickens and that's it.

In this episode I saw formal sanctions. Because all of the members of each team has to work together with there team mates. They are trying to get the pipes together so that they can get it to the wheel. so that they don't lose the game. They are trying to get it done so that they can get the prize.

Pets

Two of my favorite pets are dogs and bunnies. Dogs will always be there for you, they will protect you if they think that someone is hurting you. Also they can help protect your home when you are not there. Bunnies are cuddly animals. It is fun to feed them and play with them as well.

Vocab

Social Structure: The kids are trying to get along with each other. Learning how to work together. They fight but then they be fine and work together to figure it out. Like when they tried to make mac and cheese for every one it didn't work out so they to try to work together to make more. They came together and made more food for everyone.

Symbolic Interactionism: When one of he town counsel helped one of the 10 year old boys feel better. By trying to do what his parents used to do, like tucking him at night. Also by comforting him when he is sad. Also by helping him with any thing that makes him feel bad.

Power: When someone tries to control someone else. When on of the members kept on trying to control everyone in his group. He told them what to do. And he was mean to everyone and didn't do any of the work. He made everyone do every thing while he didn't do anything at all.

Dear Mrs. DeBolt,

I would like to tell you about some of my favorite things. My favorite movie is Frozen, Catching Fire and Despicable Me 2. Favorite color is neon blue, favorite animal is dogs, and favorite food is chocolate cake with butter cream frosting. Some things I like to do are look for snakes and bugs. I like to play softball but I  don't really play I play for fun. I also like to spend a lot of time with my family too.
One of the coolest things that happened to me and my brother is when we went sledding one time. At first we both went down on the same sled for a couple times. Then  he wanted to go down by himself and when he did he ran straight into a tree. so we went down together a few more times after that and didn't hit any trees. He wanted to try to go down again by himself, and he hit the same tree again. I fell on the ground laughing at him but then he started to laugh too. but he was not hurt so we kept on sledding. And when I went down by myself I didn't hit any tree at all.
Some activities I like to do with technology are email my family, watch movies, and look at funny videos on U Tube. I help my parents with the computer some times when they don't get how to use it, same with my brother.

                                                                                                                                           Your friend,

Violents in Video Games

I believe that violent video games do make kids more violent because the more that kids play them the more they think that it is okay to be mean. They think that it is okay that they are violent to others. Instead of learning to be nice and kind they are learning how to be mean and rude. They more they play bad games the more they think that it is good to be that way.

What I Dont Want to Forgget About Being 13

Picture From Here

things that I don't want to forget about being 13. I don't want to forget about all the sports I got to play. And I don't want to forget about my friends and my girlfriends. And I don't want to forget about all of my cool teachers. I don't want to forget about all the different experiences I have had. And i think the reason why grown people forget about this kind of stuff because they are always busy and worrying about other more important things.

Giant Water Slide

Picture From Here

A man by the name of Jeff henry aka The Wizard of water has made a new water slide called Verruckt which means insane in German. This water slide is huge it is gigantic it is even bigger than Niagara falls and the statue of liberty and it is bigger than the 14 story high Brazilian water slide which was once the Guinness world record holder but now verruckt will be the record holder for its 17 story high water slide.  Jeff Henry is called the wizard of water   because of all of the amazing water slides and endless tube rides. And I would definitely ride this water slide so I can have the thrill of a life time. And this slide will be opening may 23rd in Kansas city Mo.

  1. I had to mull  over the idea of having a rhino.
  2. I surpass my brother in school.
  3. My dad speculates about everything I ask him.
  4. I propelled my self of the statue of liberty.
  5. In track I had to hurtle over the hurtles.
  6. My dad welded medal bars on my room so I couldn't sneak out.
  7. I illuminated my room with neon lights.
  8. My brother has a very radical decision about things.
  9. In the hobbit they take an extensive journey to defeat smug.

Tiny WindMills

Picture From Here

Electrical engineering professor at the university of Texas in Arlington have made a new windmill but these aren't ordinary windmills these windmills are really tiny. A few thousand of these would be enough to power your security and lighting system at your house. They would be really self sufficient because you could carry these tiny things in your pocket and when your phone dies and their is an emergency you can hock these up to your battery and they will keep it powered long enough to make a call. These tiny windmills are also really easy to make because they are so small. They are made from nickel alloy so manufacturing them wont take as much labor as it would to make a giant sized windmill.

  1. As I was harnessing my horse I saw a rhino having a tea party with a zebra.
  2.  My dad was contemplating if he should get an elephant or a giraffe.
  3.     My legs hurt after climbing up the arduous hill.
  4.    When I went to the car show I saw the original prototype of the bat mobile.
  5.  My dad had to assert lots of discipline on the little kids.
  6. When me and my brother arm wrestle it is hard to withstand his strength.
  7. My new rhino is very durable in the heat.
  8. Vanilla wafers are my favorite thing to snack on.
  9. My dad bought my new patent leather shoes.
